I HAVE A BOOK OF ALL THE PEOPLE AT ALLIANCE CITY CEMETERY. FROM 1870 TO 1997. I KNOW THE ALLIANCE CEMETERY VERY WELL. MY GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER IRA TULLIS STARTED THE MONUMENT BUSSINESS IN ALLIANCE IN THE 1870'S, MY GREAT GRANDFATHER ORRIN TULLIS AND MY GRANDFATHER LEROY TULLIS ALSO RAN THE BUSSINESS UNTIL THE 1970'S. I CAN REMEMBER GOING TO THE CEMETERY WITH MY GRANDFATHER ON THE BACK OF A TRAILER TO WATCH THE FOUNDATION AND MARKERS BE PUT INTO PLACE. I REALLY FIND IT INTERESTING AND HOPE I CAN HELP PEOPLE FIND WHOM THERE LOOKING FOR.|

I spoke to the Columbiana cemetery (330) 482-2656 today and they told me they have him listed in their book as being buried 4/7/1943, but don't have a plot number for him. He's in a 12-person family lot, Lot #167, that was purchased in 1868, and shows his parents Edward and Eve Flickinger and some of his siblings buried there as well. I told him I was hoping to come in the fall, but and not sure when. If you happen to go back to the cemetery he said that they would be happy to take me or anyone else to the location of Lot #167. If you do go maybe you could take pictures of everyone in the lot since they're probably a relation.
Thanks so much for your help!

Hello, thanks for attempting to find and photograph this grave. You stated you cannot find it in the cemetery and asked me how I know for whom I am looking. I did not create the memorial - someone named Audrey Allison created it in 2013, so I do not know what her source information is for this memorial or whether she created it from looking at an actual stone or from written records.
This is why I requested a photo: other members of a family I am researching are buried in this cemetery and one of them had a wife named Anna. This memorial is for an Anna UNK, with no birth and death dates given and I hoped a photo would let me know whether it is the Anna I am seeking. That is why I asked for a photo of the stone and of any surrounding graves. If this were the right Anna, I would then have requested an edit that gives more detail about her (I have this information). Since you cannot find her stone, perhaps the creator of this memorial was just working from written records. I do not know.
"My" Anna was married to Romanian immigrant Tomisciu Mester, who went by the name Tom Master in the U.S. Tom died in Youngstown Ohio in 1955, many years after Anna died in 1929, so he is not buried with her - he is in Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown. I have many documents concerning this family, including Tom's burial records and an actual photograph of Anna's grave which shows the stone plainly but not what is written on it. The photo was taken in about 1932, so this area of the graveyard would look different today but the stone should still be standing and you might be able to recognize whether or not this is your graveyard. I will be glad to send you the image if you want to email me at email@example.com, as one cannot attach images to this message board.
I do not know Anna's maiden name but I do know she was born in Bistriţa-Năsăud, Romania in 1895 and died in Ohio on 20 Jan. 1929. She is a distant relative of my brother in law, so is not kin to me but if you look up my Findagrave profile you will see that I am a diligent, experienced, and conscientious member who has posted many memorials, and who maintains many more. I want to honor the dead and when I find a memorial which is vacant of information (like this Anna's is) that I actually have, I want to suggest edits for those to provide that information and/or related documents and photos.
You asked how I knew for whom I search and I have given you the "long answer" in hopes that it may lead me to learn about the grave of "Anna UNK" in your cemetery. Thanks for trying to find her, Judy Schaaf firstname.lastname@example.org
