My main lines come from Booth, Sweat, Varnadore & Bolden. |
My first try at finding a grave site & picture was for my 89 year old mother who mentioned she wished she & her mother could have seen Uncle Charles's grave site just once. Uncle Charles was killed in WWII & buried in France. A very kind WWII Vet put me in touch with how to get a picture of his site. With your site I've found some missing dates & increased my respect & delight at all those interested in their roots.
I will transfer almost all requests, I just ask that you do not delete. My time is very limited so I am pleased if someone else has info they want to add to a memorial. I thank all the wonderful people who work so hard to make this site great.
I am sorry I do not keep the stone photos I take after they are uploaded, unless they happen to be in my family tree, due to lack of memory. (Lack of memory on my computer, though sometimes I question mine also)

You are welcome, sorry it was not a better one.
|Weez||RE: Frank Booth's marker photo|
You're very welcome! I also added a photo to Mary Booth's memial & I added a memorial & photo for a Margaret Booth (Memorial #176464707), both were in the same section & plot. May I transfer Margaret's memorial to you to manage?

Linda, you are welcome. Glad I could find them for you. I have also claimed Isabella Booth. She is on Western Avenue and the plot numbers there are very confusing so I need to get over there on a day the office is open (and maybe the some of the snow e had melts) to pinpoint her grave location. Will keep you posted.

|Sandy A.||Lester Altman|
I saw where that you requested a photo of the grave of Lester Altman. Lester is the grandfather of my husband and the grave is not marked. He is buried by his wife, Susie May Bryant Altman. My husband said there was not any money for markers at the time of his or her death.

I will keep the name and each time I am in Lybrand, I'll make additional effort.

A friend and I walked Lybrand Cemetery for several hours seeking Ms. Manus grave site. It is really run down and overgrown. If you can give me a general idea of the location, we will take some yard tools over there with us and try again to locate it. Sorry we could not succeed on our first attempt.
Thanks for the acknowledgement.

Visited today. No weeds!! I didn't find the ones you requested, but decided to post some shots of the unknowns. About 15 unmarked ones. Did photo 10 reds and 3 funeral markers. Found some Varnados in Morris in Franklinton which I have not posted; may already be done. I see that 15 unknowns were posted prior to my doing so. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving! Bel
Sorry, but I completed your photo request for this gentleman in error. I was posting a copy of the death certificate. Would you please issue another photo request. Thank you, Wimsang

|J. Fenn-Lawson||RE: Ella Booth|
You're welcome. I'll take a better picture next time I'm up that way. I added photos to the other Booth family memorials that were on the same stone.
|J. Fenn-Lawson||Photo request for Juliaann Allen|
I found Juliaann's headstone using Cemetery records unfortunately it is badly worn. Directly behind her are the headstones of her parents. I took a picture that clearly shows her mother Julia's headstone. If you want I'll post the picture I will add the photo to Julia Llen's memorial so you can see it. Let me know what you think. JIM
