I am a retired military officer and a member of one of the oldest families in Georgia, the Garrisons, Cheeks, Ragdales, Chandlers, Paynes, Ayers, Ariails, Meadors, Chitwoods,and Teasleys. I currently work at Evergreen Meorial Park Cemetery, where I noticed that there is only 345 internments noted, we have 250 internments per year and the cemetery has been here since 1952.

I am currently researching my surname, Cheek, trying to find the graves of my Great-Grandfathers.
