I am retired state employee who is conducting research regarding my family, primarily of the Altoona area. My line may be connected with the "Michael" line (prolific in the Altoona area) that originated in York County.

I am also conducting research regarding the Lutheran Churches of Perry County, Pennsylvania and the pastors who served them.

All of my photos are in the public domain. Most are marked as such in the captions, but it is possible that I missed a few. So, feel free to use them as you wish. However, I would be unhappy if they were to appear on pay sites.

I'd like to encourage other contributors to do the same. After all, you can't take it with you.
