Bio

Galesville MD was my hometown, I went from attending the same school my father went to, serving in the Navy as Hospital Corpman in Viet Nam, graduated from Anne Arundel Community College and the University Maryland and then left Maryland to pursue my livelihood as a Audiovisual Coordinator at Craven Community College in New Bern, NC
I am now retired and spend a lot of time researching on Ancestry.com and at the public library. I have now more that 40000 images of cemeteries. I am now using mapper.acme.com to located less know cemeteries displayed on topo maps and get correct long and lat. for cemeteries. Another site is itouchmap.com/latlong.html as it works both ways.

I like to follow-up when I find someone is looking for a particular person if I have some information that I have found from Ancestry or other sources. Sometimes I need help as the cemetery description lack location details so I like checking with the person who listed the memorial.

Someone asked who is paying for the gas, the purpose of this service is we do it for the enjoyment and gaining knowledge of our community. So also is this free service to keep our bodies and minds working and active.
