Hello my name is Jorge Medrano and as of right now i live in Van Nuys, CA. most of my life i've been interested on cemeteries and the mysteries of death. like any other person i guess, as i kid i was afraid of all of this, but as i grew i started to find it fascinating. i had a really big fear of coffins, i guess more like to be buried alive or something. with time i started to overcome that fear until i became obsessed with it not in the way that i want to be buried alive don't get me wrong, but in the way that i learned to see the beauty of death. I guess visiting cemeteries helped me a lot. i'm no longer afraid of coffins or cemeteries, in fact i love visiting them and admiring their beauty. i have tons of pictures in my computer of different cemeteries i have visited across southern california. i believe every grave deserves respect as one day we all be laying in one, unless you decide to be cremated or your body is never found. so far my favorite cemetery to visit is the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale. i love the fact that a cemetery has a museum and beautiful sights. i have even decided that i want to be buried in this cemetery but hopefully that day won't come any time soon. one other thing i love about visiting cemeteries is visiting the oldest grave they have, if i can find it of course. you can tell so many things by a person's grave well at least i let my imagination fly to try to get to know that person. knowing when they were born helps alot and takes me back to that time, the older the better. i love finding graves from the 1800's i have not been lucky enough to find one from the 1700's but i keep looking. when i discovered this website i fell in love with it. and i hope to contribute in making it bigger. thank you.
