Several months ago I submitted an obituary and requested that it be add to Mrs. Manley's memorial. Do you need additional information from me before you can add the obituary? I am happy to comply.
In the meantime, I have added the obituary here for your convenience. Please let me know if there is something else I need to do to have the obituary added to her memorial.
Kind regards, Searchers

I noticed that you had attached a newspaper article for this memorial and I wondered if I could get permission to add this to my genealogy (and website) for Pvt. William Carroll Barnes? I would like to ask for the information to site this source if you give me permission to use it. I would like to know when it was published, what newpaper, page or volumn and the author. Where you the author of the article?
I too have an interest in the 7th TN as I had an Uptigrove in that unit. The Uptigrove, Collins, Smothers, Pinkston, Diggs and so many from Benton, Caroll and Henderson Counties in Tn have connections.
The Smothers line continued in Franklin Co., IL when Delilah Uptigrove Pinkston married Jacob Smothers and they moved from Carroll Co., TN to IL along with her sister Mary Robinson.
Thank You for your time. My contributor number is ##47268764 for Karen Riley Hall

I see that you maintain John Crawford's grave site-are you related to him?
My grandfather was a Feitz and John's mother was his sister.
|Katie||RE: Isaac and Ida Sachs|
I am not related and do not know.

The tabletop gravestone photo you added to the memorial for William Pitkin (1664-1723) is actually the gravestone of William's son, Gov. William Pitkin (1694-1769). Please delete the photo.
