Born in 1940, raised in southern California, graduated from Pomona College in 1962, attended San Diego State College in 1965, and moved to Texas for my first real employment in 1966.

As a Research Associate with Texas Instruments for six years, I was involved with the early development of integrated circuits. Employed with several other high tech companies for many years including ITT.

Ultimately I struck out on my own as an entrepreneur and founded American Marine Products, a small manufacturer of custom products for the marine industry. I retired in 2007 as the president of that company.

My recent interest in genealogy brought me to Find-a-Grave where I have been a contributing member interested in locating the resting place of my ancestors.
