I have had a strng sense of family all my life, although I had a hard time finding stories about my family. I have spent many years collecting information and it has been a wonderful adventure. I have learned many things about my family and have felt closer to them as a result. My husband and I have traveled to many areas where our families lived and tried to find out where they were buried. As a result, we have visited many beautiful cemeteries.

I see the tangle of family hsitory as somewhat of a mystery, which I love very much. I honor my ancestors for the lives they lived, the battles they fought, the hardships they endured and the strong characters they developed. I feel proud to be descended from them, reglardless of what they did in their lives. Finding them is a continuous adventure.
