Bio

A relative invited me to look at his Find-A-Grave submissions and got me hooked! I have entered all my family names that are buried in one cemetery and am working on a second one. When we go to cemeteries now for Memorial Day, or just to stop by, I go armed with flowers, lists of anyone who might have requested a photo from there and a list of any photos I still need! I was so pleased to find the grave site of an aunt in Washington state. I hope to be able to help others by adding photos and information. I have also created memorials for some former neighbors who were like family and didn't have many blood-line family members. I consider that my paying forward to them as they did so much for me when I was growing up. I enjoy genealogy and getting the puzzle pieces in place to make a person rather than a name and dates. Finding the final resting places and documenting that seems like a final step in the process. Please feel free to contact me for further information. I don't register as a photo volunteer. However, anytime I know I'm going to be going to a cemetery, I check that cemetery's request list and try to fill as many as I can find.
