If I have posted something on your memorial and you would like it removed, PLEASE ask kindly. My intent is to share info, NOT annoy you. Due to FAG rules (I was previously unaware of), I am attempting to transcribe obits I have added. Thank you for your patience.|
I have free access to The Oklahoman (newspaper) online archives through my library card. Please send me a message if you want a look up!

Are you related to Ethel E. Patton Campbell?
HaHa! You are correct about it being the gravestone inscription! Don't know why I thought it meant the info came from the family bible.
Thank you for responding. Will continue to hunt for her parents.

On this memorial, it mentions birth/death info from the family bible. Do you know who has that family bible? I would like to see if there are any clues to help find this person's family (parents). Thanks in advance,

I'll be sure to do that but could you give me the memorial number of the request in question. I have quite a few requests and in more than one Resthaven.
I saw that you had mentioned the Yeagers, I am a Yeager from Oklahoma. My grandpa was Willard Yeager, his parents Francis H Yeager and Elsie G Yeager.

I read your bio info and saw that you VERY KINDLY offered to look up obituaries in the Oklahoman newspaper. I would like to take you up on that offer if it's not too much trouble. This is for one of your Find A Grave memorials, and also for a distant relative of mine by the quaint name of Lafayette Green Bennett. He died in Oklahoma city in September of 1987. That is according to his Social Security Death record. I do not know the specific date of death unfortunately. He was born Nov. 10, 1901 in Indian Territory (Oklahoma).
His wife, Ethel Lillian (Pruitt) also passed away in Oklahoma City, on July 19, 1998. They were both interred at the Reshaven Gardens Cemetery, in Oklahoma City. I'd be very pleased if you could look up one or both of the obits for them. Thanks in advance for anything you might be able to do on this. Best wishes/Kelly
P.S. I tried to submit an edit for the POB for Lafayette Green Bennett to show he was born in Center, Indian Territory - but Indian Territory is not one of the options available so I just settled for Oklahoma on the Edit submit.

I thank you much for the obit info you sent along to me. I have posted this on their memorial pages.

Hi Kim ... I had another contributor have the same problem not long ago. Someone contacted her that they couldn't see a photo but she could on her end. She had me check and I couldn't see it either. I'm not sure how to make the obit so it is readable. Maybe you could reload it after copy it and enlarge it then re-enter it. If all else fails you could send me the high points in the obit and I could enter it in the bio. I'm not sure why there are so many issues with photos in the last few months. Thanks for getting back with me.

The obituary photo for Mr. Elmer Davis is not appearing on the memorial page ... only an x. When you click the x you go to the photos and can see the obit but can't enlarge it to be readable. I have noticed many pics lately that are in png format and have to be changed to jpeg or bmp. I appreciate your help.

Thanks for the heads up on the obituary! I would love a copy if it's easy to send me one. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
And if you don't mind, I have a few other family members whose names I'd love for you to check.(I can come up with a list.) Although I have access to Newspapers.com and GenealogyBank.com, my Oklahoma family has been hard to follow up on.
Happy Holidays! All the best.
