Thanks to all the volunteers that have posted all these grave photos and transcribed cemeteries online. This is very helpful when trying to find out family history. What a great service to offer the future generations.
I don't think people realize how much work goes into getting these photos online.
Thank you so much to all the volunteers that love stone hunting and sharing their efforts with the families the deceased have left behind. It is most comforting. If you see a memorial in my possession it is because I have asked to manage family members in case any living family members find their memorials. So please send a note, we may be related!
To all the memorial hoarders.....if you don't have time to do edits etc then you should not be holding entire families hostage with incorrect or incomplete info. That causes people to create a duplicate memorial. Having someone in your family tree IS enough of a reason to allow them to manage it, especially if you don't even have that person in YOUR tree at all And you obviously don't have time to manage requests for over 100k memorial pages. So obviously you need to lighten your load by letting the family manage their relatives. Memorial hoarders are the worst...what's the point anyhow?
