Before my mother died, she had begun creating a family tree with photo albums. She had sent photographs off for copies and with a typewriter was creating photo albums for every one of her nieces, nephews and grandchildren. I inherited the project and it rested for many years. For my father's 90th birthday, I finally made some headway and with the advancement in technology, created an electronic photo album as well as a DVD slide show. I have been hooked on genealogy since and just wish that my mother was around to see all of the information available today!
