When I was 17 my great aunt gave me 10 family letters written to my gg grandfather during the Civil War. That is how I got fascinated with family history and have been investigating my family ever since.

As a single parent I always told stories of my family to my son while he was held captive in the truck. I tried to tell my son all the stories of his ancestors that were in the Texas Revolution, Mexican War, Civil War and WWI & WWII. My son never knew that you weren't suppose to spend your school spring breaks tromping through cemeteries in Fayette County, Texas.

I have loved genealogy since I was 17 and will continue to search for all those missing family members.

Feel free to use any photo that I have taken and placed on FindAGrave.
