It shows I haven't done that much in the photo taking department at all, because I neglected to fully read all of the procedures and was unaware of the 'claiming' and 'fulfilling' steps when I first started, so my total is way, WAAAAY off. However, it isn't about the numbers, is it?
I have and will continue to transcribe photos and add a Memorial as the occasions arise; like when I am working on a family tree for someone, or filling 'holes' in my own family tree...

For those who may wonder: yes, my last name is Smith, but I come from: Smith, Walker, Nance, Berry, York, Clift, Coffman, Chapman, Landis, Spriggs, Lobaugh, Schultz, Ammen and many others...

I think that we should all look at this adventure of Genealogy, as a case of being thankful that our ancestors were not satisfied where they were and looked for new lands. Imagine of all of the cattle drives, wagon trains and the other pilgrimages that came out west. Many of our kin were born and perished along the way and it is MOST doubtful that we will ever find any trace, of those who were part of the 'way west'. But, if they had not ventured out, we'd all be living in VERY tall high-rises, back east. There would be no Mississippi River, Rocky Mountains, Land or Gold rushes, or even 50 states...

If it weren't for our Ancestors, WE would not be here. They deserve our most sincere homage.
