We have been doing genealogy research for over 30 years and enjoy helping people connect with others. I work for myself and travel the entire state of Oklahoma so special requests can be acted upon if I'm in the vicinity. My husband likes finding the grave markers also, he lets me take the pictures though.

If we take a picture of your relative and you want the memorial for it, we will happily transfer it to you.

To transfer a memorial you want, first pull up the memorial. On the top of the page is an edit button. click on that and a suggestions page will come up. Ask to have the memorial transfered and I will transfer it to you if I'm not kin also.

Henry Hemken memorial transfer
Thank you very much for the memorial transfer of Henry Hemken. He is a 2x-great uncle of mine on my mother and grandmother's side of the family.

RE: Mildred Peterson
You are so very welcome.

The cemetery policy years ago, was to place a concrete marker on the grave, to mark the place, for a permanent marker. I have had the grounds grew uncover many of these concrete markers for me in Block 54, and will see if they can find one for Mildred. There is likely a concrete marker for her a few inches down in the grass.

The grounds crew were busy today with some burials, but I will catch them another day to see what they can find. If we can find a concrete marker, this will be further verification for you too.

Mildred Peterson # 140875151
Hi Kevin and Robin-

I was at the cemetery today, and tried to find a marker for Mildred, but she has no marker. I have been photographing this block for several years, and know her burial place, but no marker is presently seen.

Do you know if there was a marker at one time? There have been many markers vandalized.

I will post a picture of her grave site tonight after I take the pictures off the camera.

Thanks. waiting on a nice sunny day to go back and look at the stones better. If I find anything different I'll let you know.

Loyd family at Copeland Bridge
This cemetery is in DeKalb Co. AL. I happen to go by today to check on some of my family's stones. Thought I'd take a few pictures while there. Saw your post about Jim's first wife. Did not see a stone with that name, but there are several unknown stones in this area of the old cemetery. Also wanted to let you know that Jim's stone is now broken and laying on the ground. Will post pic I took so you can have or see. Can take off if you like.

RE: J Burrow picture
You're most welcome. I found it odd that the only thing on the stone was his name. Both sides of the marker are completely smooth otherwise, with no indications that anything else was ever there. Ah, those great mysteries!

I will add these to my separate list to go back when it is a little dryer. Keep checking back.
