I am needing to add this at the beginning because I have found MY personal pictures being added to family trees on Ancestry,com....My pictures are NOT to be used unless I give written permission. My photos are copywritten. No permission, No use! My husbands cancer has returned and I have Multiple Sclerosis. It has been very challenging for us. So I cannot be on here every single day, but when I do get time, I am trying to work on more family genealogy, linking pages, adding pages, etc. and I will not add edits to the pages I manage unless I have found the correct or same stats, stories, etc. and I'm trying to update my pages when I hit a snag. I promise I will get to it.
You may use my email to correspond with me if you choose, just please state in the subject it is about findagrave....and be respectful, or you will be ignored and blocked. ([email protected]) But to transfer, makes changes, etc. please use the edit tab. Thank you! =) Please know that there are family members who truly appreciate everything that people have done to make this site great for those of us who are doing genealogy on our families to find them. The volunteers are wonderful!! If you have a family member that I have created pages for, I will happily transfer their page to you. As long as they are not family members or friends of mine. I have been doing my genealogy for over 25 years on all sides of my family, which to me is so wonderful when there are so many interesting facts, or "secrets". I've had some wonderful help by two of my cousins. I thank them so much!! Please, I ask everyone to just remember that the families appreciate your hard work, but also remember that the families have lost those family members. Be kind and considerate to one another. =)
I myself have gone out and added memorials here too. I know how much I appreciate all the hard work that the contributors and volunteers have done. I have Multiple Sclerosis, and it has progressed this past year, that I just cannot get out to get more pictures. I'm so sorry about that. Also I wanted to note....I DO NOT feel comfortable sending ANY personal information that I may have on my family members, as proof of surnames etc....if I ask for a transfer of a family member, it's because they are family. I try very hard to be respectful to everyone. Findagrave is NO place to be rude and disrespectful.
As before, be kind and considerate to one another. I was taught to treat others how I want to be treated. I think those are good words to live by. *Smile*
