Bio

I've been researching my family history for the last 50 years and have an extensive database of names. Now that I've found FindAGrave, I will slowly add content and create links where I can.

I have a wonderful wife, two children, and two grand-children.

I'm also interested in Photography, Reading, Cooking, and Travel.

I am a volunteer cemetery coordinator for the Historic Bear Creek Cemetery in Euless, Texas, and a member of the Board of Directors.

I will gladly transfer any memorial to DIRECT family members according to Find a Grave conditions. "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations." Please don't ask if the memorial does not fit these conditions.

FIND A GRAVE CONDITIONS FOR REQUESTING TRANSFERS:

How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me?
First, Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.

Second, Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Third, If you have extensive additions/changes to make to a memorial, please contact the Find A Grave member who created the memorial.
