I started looking for my family by accident about 18 years ago. I was in a World History class at Dalton State College and the teacher asked us ...as an assignment...to go home and trace back to our great grandparents. Well I got to thinking well who were there parents and so on and so on...I have traced back my tree on my Fathers side to the early 1700s and My Mothers side back into the 1600s...I am HOOKED and finding their graves...thanks to the support I have found on this website...it is sooooooo helpful and brings closure as well....and then I turn around and pay it forward by helping someone else. :-)
