As the daughter of a Professional Geneologist, I grew up in cemeteries through several various states. As an adult, the "bug" that drove my mother "grave-tromping", as I called it then, has since taken firm hold in me. I was taught that cemeteries are to be revered, graves to be respected. One speaks softly and NEVER walks on the ground where the deceased rest(s). I am proudly a member of the Ohio Valley Chapter of the DAR.
A hobby photographer since childhood, I assisted my mother on her endeavors with my latest and/or greatest camera(s) in tow. When she told me about find-a-grave and the need for photos, I was immediately intrigued.
**NOTE REGARDING NORTH CAROLINA MEMORIALS:
I have no personal connection to any of the memorials created
involving North Carolina (Mecklenburg and surrounding counties). I
would be pleased to transfer any of these memorials. I no longer live
in that area.**
I wish to offer my availability as a contributor/photographer for areas of Indian River and nearby counties in Florida.
