I have been doing genealogical research since 1980 in Mathews/Gloucester Counties, Virginia (maternal) and Edgecombe/Wilson Counties, North Carolina (paternal). Surnames include: (VA) White, Anderton, Billups, Gayle, Williams, Buckner, Hudgins, Hunley, Davenport and (NC) Bradley, Butler, Tally, Farrar, Ruffin, Billups. I grew up in Wilson, NC and have lived in Boulder, CO off and on since 1964. I spent my childhood summers in Mathews Co., VA and graduated from Duke Univeristy in 1963.
