My Mother's interest in the family tree is how I became interested in genealogy at a very early age.
I liked spending time with her when going to the old homesteads and family cemeteries. It was knowing that if she hadn't shown me where they were located at that they may have been forgotten about or other relatives not knowing where they were for future generations that may be doing research. My love for genealogy continued when I got married and started working on my husband's family. I feel we make a good team together, me with data and him with history, thus making the family tree more interesting. The branches on our tree are always growing.
