Memorial #179585524 - Frederick Kuehl

Hello Rick, The middle name August was added when I received an Edit on Fred's Name and I was also left a message telling me where he was buried. If you cannot find a headstone at the cemetery he either may not have had one or it may have been a flat stone that got covered over. My grandma and grandpa have a flat stone. Grandma died in 1956 and when I went home and visited the cemetery I had a time finding it. Would you like me to transfer the Kuehl Memorials to you? - Joan

RE: Emmanuel Baptist Cemetery
I have declined your update as it appears the information is correct as is. Ludwick Gietz (145814565) is married to Augusta Wotte (145814603). In your note you mentioned that Ernest Gietz (145814642) was their son. Would you please confirm this. Once I hear from you I will make the connection on Find A Grave. Thanks Cliff

J D Knapp #1111853313
I hope someone can help I am trying to find out info on the plot marked J D Knapp
My grand parents John Dayton and Lucy Knapp were from Asquith and while they lived there had a still born girl Viola Knapp 1908. I grew up hearing stories that my dad(Frederick Samuel Knapp had a brother but died before he was born. Now aunt Florence dads last living sister mention the still born girl and she thought that there was a boy as well between Eva born 1912 and Ada born 1917 (2 of dads other sisters. now dad was born 1915 so its possible that there was one or dad could have had a twin.
Is there any possible way to find out.
One other thing grandpa John Daton Knapp is buried in the Peace View Cemetery in Doe River BC where i grew up, and in the Asquith Cemetery there is a plot with JD Knapp attached. now i know that its not grandpa so how can i find any info to the fact that there was a possible still birth boy
If anyone can help or direct me to who created the record plot marked J D Knapp. if anyone could take a photo of plot and email to me that would be great. I so would like to know if my father had a older brother, whether still born or infant death

RE: Charlotte Isabella Patterson McCargar 81768968
Hi Rick...I received a photocopy of the original obituary of Charlotte Isabella (Patterson) McCargar (Find A Grave Memorial# 81768968) from a now-deceased cousin, Whipple (McCargar) Prowse, and she did not know the origin or date of the obituary.

Whipple also stated that Charlotte had stayed with son Philander and his family out west, but had to get back east as she was afraid she would die and not be reunited with her husband Solomon.

Hi RickM

Please send this in via the edit button on the upper right side of the memorial page you would like me to update. Am happy to do so but using the edit button to send a "suggest a correction" is the best and surest way to get this done. I get a direct link to the memorial page without having to transfer/lookup numbers where I can make a mistake. I know there are find a grave numbers in the info you sent me but I really prefer using the direct links.

RE: Ethel Denzin née Mulberry
Thanks Rick. Yes, it's amazing how many rabbit trails one can go down when you start to do a little bit of genealogy work regarding a home town.
