Bio

ABOUT ME: I'm a first generation California native. My folks came to San Diego as young children...my father from Pennsylvania, and my mother from Oklahoma. I am married and we have two grown children, and four grandchildren. We live in Ramona, a rural town in the mountains above San Diego. Among my interests, genealogy is number one. I can't get enough of it. When I found this site, I didn't realize it's full potential until months later. I've been able to find photos of 2nd great grandparents' graves. I've submitted corrections for names and dates. I've reconnected with long lost family members, albeit over photos of their grave markers. I've found kin that I never knew existed. I've also found markers for family that were stillborn or died in infancy or childhood that I didn't yet even know their names. Find A Grave contributors are so helpful! The thoughtful souls that go out and fulfill photo requests will never fully know the depth of my gratitude. In turn, I'd be happy to fulfill any photo requests in my area. PHOTO REQUESTS: I'd be happy to help with photo requests in all of San Diego County. Occasionally, I venture to Imperial, Orange, Riverside, and Los Angeles Counties. I love genealogy and would be thrilled to connect you with your friends or family.PHOTO CREDITS: Any photos that I've posted are from my own personal collection, or posted with the permission of the owner(s). If you would like to use any of my photos posted on memorials, please feel free to do so as long as you give the photo credit to the person that is listed as the contributor. If it is mine, I'd appreciate a "Photo courtesy of Marla Fryman". I always give a photo credit if I am able to, and apprecitate the same in return. Thank you in advance for the mutual respect. FAMILY TRANSFERS: If I have any memorials that are related to you, I'd be happy to transfer to family, as others have extended to me. If we are both related, then I'll hang on to them unless you are closer. Sound like a deal?:)
