I live in a small town in Southern Ontario Canada with my husband and two lovely daughters.

My husband and I have been doing our family trees for quite a few years. We have run into so many dead ends. Have found lots of incorrect information on genealogy websites. When I found Find A Grave I decided to join and add memorials from the cemeteries in our area. I hope this will help others find a name, date etc., to help with their family trees. The digital cameras have been very helpfull.

I have always loved walking through cemeteries, there is so much history in them. I enjoy history.

Please remember when asking for a transfer to follow the guide lines laid out by find a grave "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren." PLEASE INCLUDE THE RELATIONSHIP (TRUTHFULL) TO THE PERSON YOU ARE REQUESTING BEING TRANSFERRED.

NOTE: I have been finding a number of my photos being copied from the Canadian Web site. They are being coped, some altered (but can still tell they are mine) and being added as yours. Please read the guidelines for Find A Grave. You are to ONLY USE PHOTOS THAT YOU HAVE TAKEN YOURSELF, NO USE OF PHOTOS FOR ANY OTHER WEBSITE. I spend many hours walking through the cemeteries in all kinds of weather taking these photos, also cost of gas is very high. Do you think it is right to sit back in a nice comfy chair and STEAL these photos rather than do your own leg work? Asking permission can be done from your comfy chair. Due to these problems I have started to add watermarks and copywrite to my photos. If you want photos for your own use please request and I will be happy to do so.
