Cleveland Calvary Request
Just a friendly mid June reminder that we need plot info to fill your Cleveland Calvary request(s). We have less than 500 requests left but plot info for only 6% of those, having already filled the rest with plot info. We can't ask for plot info for more than 3 requests per week. Please call (216) 641-7575 and obtain plot info. We'd really appreciate it and will fill your request(s) soon after getting plot info. Thank you!

You've put in request(s) at Calvary in Cleveland. Several of us are working to clear the more than 750 requests. With 400,000 burials and 300 acres, if you could please obtain plot information AND a plot map one of us will be more likely to be able to fill the request, as the office will only give out a little information to each person. The office phone number is (216) 641-7575. On my page I have the plot maps listed that we already have, we don't need more copies of those.

You can try to tell them you'll be visiting when they're closed, etc. So far everyone who's called has been successful in having a map mailed, a few e-mailed. If you get one let me know and I'll give you my e-mail address. With thousands of graves per section a plot map would be VERY helpful. Without plot information it's basically impossible.

James Alfred Locke Miller Jr.
Emma Smothers
Anne, do you know where in Rockingham County, N.C., Emma Smothers was born? My grandmother, Mrs. Ruby Valerie Woollen Miller, 1884-1968, was "born near Reidsville"; possibly at "Woolen's Crosroads"? Do you know who the parents of Pvt. James Landreth Malcolm, CSA musician, or his wife Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Page Malcolm were? Is there a picture of either? I have a photo of their daughter, Mrs. Susan Caroline Malcolm Woollen, wife of Sgt. James Anderson Woolen, CSA musician. Do you know of a photo of Sgt. Woollen? Do you know which instruments Sgt. Woollen or Pvt. Malcolm played? Grandmother played a viola. I'm a Piedmont Airlines/USAir/US Airways (INT & CLT) retired.

your photo request
I was at Highland Park Cemetery fulfilling photo requests today. It is a huge cemetery and there is no way anyone could find a tombstone without the Section and Lot or Tier number. I will, as I am able, look for the stones that have this information. There are 121 photo requests for this cemetery so I cannot request lookups for all of them. This is the link:
Please also ask them to check if there is actually a stone there
