Bio and Links
I should state that I will continue the work that Norm and I started this summer when the weather warms. I just won't be as fast.

We are in the process of documenting all graves in DeWitt County. The summer of 2010 has been dedicated to the cemeteries around Waynesville. We try not to add a picture to a memorial if the current one is readable. Sometimes we will add a close up shot of the wording.
We are very happy to transfer any memorials. We are working with another Find a Grave member to do research on the memorials we have created.
The summer of 2010 we were able to photgraph 12 cemeteries in DeWitt County. They were: Crum, Evergreen, Fairview, Halsey/Hougham, Hays/Coppenbarger, Rose, McClimans, Mills/Cackley, Randolph, Rock Creek, Tunbridge and Union.

Believe me I have no idea myself. All I did was sponsor it. Just transferred it back. I was never notified that I had received it either. So I'm just as confused as you are. Communications are still going downhill. I see.

You have a photograph of my great grandfather and great grandmother's gravesite, Samuel A and Comfort Cunningham. An actual photo. Not people I remember well, but here I am with family on Christmas Eve and we are trying to put family pieces together and boom, there's a photo of the actual gravesite. Thank you. It meant something to me, and to us to see it.

Elsie Irene Finfrock Lane Organ Fletcher
Okay I've seen at least two different markers regarding Elsie in two different locations. I would like to know where is she actually buried. Thanks she a relative and I understand that she was married three different times. But she can only be buried in one place.

I have reviewed Nancy's memorial. I realize that her name field SHOULD actually say Nancy Jane *Marvel* Shipley. (with Marvel being the maiden name), according to FindaGrave guidelines. Back when I was working on the Marvels, I hadn't learned the guidelines. Nancy was the second wife of the husband of my husband's great grand aunt. I notice that you transferred her to me, but if you would like her back, that would be fine with me. Let me know.

RE: Pvt Anton F. Birkner
Hi, Anton was my great uncle. He was from Woodford County Illinois. As far as I know there was no connection to DeWitt but if I run into anything I will let you know! The entire family settled Woodford County. Michele
