Whoever did the memorial in CA should have checked to see if there was another memorial for COL Guest. I have made a note on mine that he may have been buried elsewhere, with his memorial number; but, I am not removing mine.

|Laura Cook||Regarding Martha Lonney first marriage|
I'm looking for information about her first daughter
Anna Hill, from her first marriage to Frank Hill.
Anything is appreciated. Thank you Laura

Larry, I spent some time today trying to find info on Joe Jones. I found hints that he is alive at age 90. I found an old address for him at 814 Gardiner St., Arlington, Texas, but nothing recent. There are so many "White Pages" sites that claim to give addresses and phone numbers for free. However, it always seems that before you get anything remotely worthwhile, you have to pay. What a ripoff! It would be easier if I had Joe's full name. Jones is such a common name. I also looked for a marriage record, hoping that it might give information on his name and date of birth. No luck with that. Good luck with your search.
Very best regards,
Donald J. Ward

Larry, I have no problem transferring memorial # 95792317 to you, but I have a question. What would you do about the existence of duplicate memorial numbers? Since you didn't create either memorial, I don't believe Findagrave will let you delete either of them. Would it be better for you if I moved the headstone photos from 95792317 to 12605608 and deleted 95792317?
Edison Lee Looney is my 3rd cousin 5x removed. Thanks for sharing

Hi ~ So sorry for the incorrect information. I had long ago changed my family group sheets to reflect the name Guest, but forgot to change it on Find A Grave. I am related to the Messick family. Thanks for sharing this information! Janet Ward

Larry: "thanks so much for the correction on this name and I have made changes!"

First I have a bit of egg on my face that I need to wipe off. I misread the narrative portion of your memorial for Grampa Moses -- I thought it said that he was buried on his land in North Carolina. Oops. I'm glad that my gaffe has connected me with another family historian, though. I'm descended from Moses and Dorcas's son John Moses, who married Mary "Polly" Stroud in Warren, Tennessee. I've run into several challenges researching this line, and I would appreciate any insight or information you're willing to share.
