If you want me to add one of my photos to an additional memorial, please send me a message. Do NOT copy my photo and upload as your own.
You ARE welcome to use my photos in other places like ancestry.

I verify all edits. If I am not able to verify, I will request additional evidence. If you have messages turned off, edits will be declined.
If I send you an edit and you would rather not deal with them, I am happy to take over any management :-)
If you are a new user or your profile is blank, I will likely request additional evidence.
I will not link to "burial unknown" memorials.

I participate in Find a Grave as a way to show respect for those who have passed before - I feel it is important to remember them.
I have always found cemeteries to be peaceful. My fascination started when I was in elementary school and my father took me to an old historic cemetery. So many stories to be found!
Many of my memorials are works-in-progress and I add information as I find it.

As long as I am not related, I am generally happy to transfer memorials to a family or friend who is an Active, Established Find A Grave member. To request this, select "Suggest other corrections" and briefly explain your relation or interest. You can also suggest other corrections/updates this way.
I currently walk a couple cemeteries in the San Jose, CA area taking pictures and creating memorials. I have been focusing on Oak Hill, but also visit Los Gatos Memorial, Calvary Catholic, and Santa Clara Mission.
Those I have created on the East Coast are generally family of some variety or related to a memorial I created in CA.

Obituaries and Death Certificates:
Please Do Not scan and add recent Obituaries as photos.
Recent Obituaries are still copyrighted and often contain information on live people.
I prefer not to have Death certificates added to memorials. Please do not add if there is no other picture...then they become the main picture and it just feel Wrong :-)
The information found on death certificates generally has already been added to the memorial. If something is missing send me a suggested edit, and I will add.

Memorial Transfer:
Many of the memorials I add or manage are family of some sort. However, only a few of those in California are.
See note above about transfers.

Photos:
I am currently fulfilling picture requests for Oak Hill, Calvary Catholic, and Los Gatos Memorial in San Jose. I am also adding photos and memorials for any that I find that are not already here. I am willing to venture to the other nearby cemeteries, so let me know if you are looking for someone specific.

Please feel free to use any of the pictures that I have posted to family trees such as Ancestry & Family Search, as well as, Veterans memorial pages - credit would be nice though. Just a quick "Photo from Find a Grave by Erin N" or such ;-)
Permission is NOT given to take my pictures and add them to other memorials on Find a Grave or Billion Graves.
Send me a message if you would like one added elsewhere.

I have spent many years researching my own family. My Direct lines are:
Levack, Choquette, Long, Murphy, & Thompson in Quebec, MA, and CT
Ault, Vinson, Brackett in TN and the Carolinas
Geiger, Rettew, Smith, Hart, & Buck in PA
Long, Murphy, Russell, Sweeney, Joy, McKenna in Kerry, Ireland
