I was born in Mobile in 1930; moved to Stapleton, AL in 1936; graduated Baldwin Co. High School 1948, after which I spent 11 years in the Navy. I then became a chemist and had a satisying career, ending in Baton Rouge, where I retired in 1995 and still live. About 1990 I became interested in genealogy with the attending interest in cemeteries.
