..If you are related to the individual in the Memorial or have reasonable cause, I am willing and would be happy to assign management to you. Just request assignment or transfer using the "Edit" tab on the memorial "Suggest any other correction or addition", here you can request transfer, please include your reason for your request.
..I have added many memorials from cemetery directories so that relatives might find lost ancestors and so on. Though assignment of management is easier - If you wish to be the creator of the memorial please let me know. I will work with you; and you can then create a new memorial and I will transfer photos and info to your memorial.
..Credit & Responsibility are the single most important part of the data that supports the Memorial. With this in mind, if you offer a correction to a memorial, I usually will accept your suggestion if reasonable, If the suggestion is dubious I will reference contributor in the BIO section of the memorial.. This way I pass the responsibility and the credit for the added data to the contributor.
..I take pride in, and enjoy taking good respectful photos of grave markers. Part of this is just pride in a photo well taken - Hopefully. Part is simply to contemplate, and to honor the person. A person who was someone, who hoped, who dreamed, worked, loved, was loved. Someone who now is only thought of occasionally - or has been forgotten altogether. I hope my photos and memorials bring some life to their memory and honor them as they deserve.
..I am happy to take any requested photos. Lighting is everything so if someone takes a clearer or prettier photo let me know. IF I AGREE, I will remove mine to make room for other photos (honestly this will not hurt my feelings one bit). If I don't think yours is an improvement then both photos will stay.
..Of note.. I edit virtually every photo I add to Find A Grave, not to mislead but to add to the quality of the photograph. This could entail straitening, removal of spherical and other photographic distortions, lightening shadows and darkening highlights, slight color adjustments, and highlighting difficult to read inscriptions. If you wish to have a copy the original(s) photo, as taken, please feel free to request it at my email address(I will need a direct email address as attachments will not go thru Find A Grave). I would be very happy to email it to you.
..In closing, I do not see Cemeteries as morbid places. They are the resting place of our loved one. Cemeteries are like parks, with beautiful stones.
..Photos I take for Find A Grave: If you wish to use any of the photos I posted on The Find A Grave site I only ask that the photos be used in a respectful way and that credit & responsibility are given to your humble photographer.
