Bio Photo I grew up in So. Indiana on a farm. I am retired, having worked almost 20 years in our local school system.
I live near where I grew up in Indiana, so I have access to many of my relative's graves. I am looking forward to contributing to this site!

RE: Cemetery Records for Daviess County
Hi Linda,
If you don't mind I would like for you to check and see if they are available and how much. I have a lot of family that lived in and around Elnora,Elmore,Oden,Washington so they would been a lot of them buried in and around the area. I know they are a lot of the Christenberry's buried in Walnut Hill Cemetery. There are Longs in Fairview in Elnora and Ketchem in Odon. I know there a Moore's buried around the area also.
So I would have a lot to research. I just don't know how many at this point.
Would appreciate any help. Thanks

Cemetery Records for Daviess County
Linda, you had mentioned that you have access to records of the cemeteries in Daviess County. I have a lot of relatives buried around the Odon,Elnora area and probably buried in several different cemeteries in the area. Are these records available?

Sarah Roberts Kinder FAG#52956858
Thank you for your help with photos of George Thomas Kinder and Sarah Roberts Kinder. As I am sure you have seen, the grave marker for Sarah has some conflicting information for me to resolve. George Thomas Kinder is my great grandfather and Sarah Baker Kinder is my great grandmother. Sarah Baker Kinder was George's 1st wife and died in 1905 (see link on George's Find A Grave). Sarah Roberts Kinder was George's 3rd wife and a cousin to Sarah Baker Kinder and she died in 1933 as the marker says. My first step will be to locate an obituary for Sarah Roberts Kinder to confirm that this is actually her that is buried under the marker. Thanks again for your help.

Headstones for the Long's
I want to thank you so much for all the photos they are great! If the photos that you have of the two children of George and Tena are for Mary Lucille and Paul Eugene then YES I would like to have they added to their memorials. I created them today: Mary #53401685 and Paul #53401220. I haven't been able to determine of some of the other children and spouses are buried there as well. I think Joseph Hardin Long,George Randolph Long and Velma Long Ferguson may all be buried there as well but haven't found proof as yet. I again want to thank you so much for the great photos. You said you know Maude's daughter's would you be kind enough to give them my e-mail address and ask them to contact me? Thanks again

RE: Re: Henkels at Cornettsville Cem
Thank you. If those posted are the best, they will do just fine. The cemetery is nice and much better than the view from Google Earth. I saved all three to my collection.
