RE: using DNA to find relatives
KEN 20 MAY 2017: Glad to help you find family. I've added the photos you requested to the HEIL family members. If you haven't already done so, I suggest you do a DNA test on ancestry.com. I have found two relatives we never knew existed. Both were infant girls given up a birth, one by a cousin and one by an aunt, but their existence was kept a secret. Amazing thing that DNA.

KATI 20 MAY 2017: You're so right about using DNA to find previously unknown relatives. There's now a group of just over 2 dozen of my paternal Trine, Bobenmyer, and Schuler cousins [called the "TBS cousins group" in our emails to each other-LOL! The Heils descend from Schulers] that are all interested in genealogy and family history. We've found each other online through Ancestry and Find A Grave. About eight of us have had our DNA done thru Ancestry so our group keeps growing. I think as baby-boomers age and have more personal time on their hands, family history research becomes more common among us. I've probably have had as many paternal and maternal cousins find me online through Find A Grave as those that find me at Ancestry!

GOD BLESS ALL THE Find A Grave VOLUNTEERS FOR REUNITING FAMILIES!

Best wishes always,

Hi Kenneth,

Thank you so much for posting the tombstone photo of my Heil cousins burial place for my family and me!

I noticed the multiple names on the tombstone and saw three didn't have memorial pages yet, so I made them yesterday.

Would you please add your photo to their memorial pages?

William S. Heil https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=179477814

Allen S. Heil https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=179461277

and his wife Sarah Amelia (nee Colle) Heil https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=179461271

I wouldn't mind reposting your photo on their memorial pages on your behalf, giving photographic credit to you of course, but I like it much better when your name itself is attached for all your hard work.

A new Heil cousin found me online through your work at Find A Grave-YIPPEE! We're now comparing our lineages together and helping each other out. This is the best part of Find A Grave, reconnecting families!

May God bless you and yours in all your endeavors!

With heartfelt gratitude,

Parents of Norman
Hi do you happen to have any information for the parents or other relatives further back of Norman Schaffer? My Grandmother Joyce's memory isn't the greatest anymore
