My family came to America in 1880 from Switzerland and purchased the farm I now live on. I've always been interested in my family history. In fact I had enough forethought as a teenager I sat down with my paternal Grandmother and made notes. I wish I'd known all the things I should have been asking my Grandparents at that time. I am working to compile information for all branches of my tree and my husband's too. Much of our history has been lost, I want to do my part to preserve it for future generations.
