I have a wonderful family that I am very close to.

I lost my gramps, Clarence E. Sluder, first in 2001, when I was nine months pregnant. He died two weeks before he got to meet his second great-grandson. I never wanted to lose anyone else.

Unfortunately, I lost my dad, SGM Michael W. Clements in 2004. He adopted me when I was a teenager and was proud the first time I called him dad. He was in the army for 23 years. He had been home from Iraq eight months before he went to heaven. I was glad to have that extra time with him.

We recently lost one more family member. My mother-in-law, Connie Diane Hinson, she was born February 15, 1956 and went home to God on January 28, 2010.

It is hard when you lose a loved one. I am still grieving for my dad. His death has been the hardest. I know that one day I will see them all again. In the mean time my family has some really amazing angels watching over us.

Since I started this bio I have recently lost my beloved Granny. She was born 10/19/1933 and went to be with my Gramps on 03/14/2017. I know they are together now but I miss both of them deeply.
