Hello! You are very welcome for the photo. I was out yesterday and stopped at Holy Trinity. There were 6 requests and I found them all in about 10 minutes. It was a beautiful day for it. Let me know if I can be of further help.

No, I'm not related, but have worked on the Myers line with my friend (he has his tree on Ancestry), user OGIC123.

I wonder if the adopted son George W Myers, was also a siblings child...hummm. Hannah's obit said she was the youngest of 12 children.

RE: Sarah Baker Myers 51205036
Seems that Hannah Dill was def. a sister, from her obit that one census. I'm just not sure if THIS John Baker is the right brother. He is listed as born England, with a father in England, while all the woman mentioned in Hannah's obit are all born PA, with Sarah even listed on one census as born Muncy, PA.

I can't figure out, if not him, then which John Baker of this city was the brother. There doesn't seem to be another John in this city.

Hannah's 1888 obit mentioned 5 siblings, a brother and 3 sisters that live here (out of 12 siblings), doesn't say where the rest are or how many there were left. While Sarah's 1900 obit mentioned 6 sisters and 2 brothers, not mentioned where they were. Harriet (Frank), her obit mentions no siblings. John's mentions no siblings.

If this John WAS the brother, then he was born England and returned there, even had a daughter there, mentions his father as William Baker who has property in Nottingham, England. The whole thing is strange. How, if he's the brother, could he be the only one born England. And how did the father have property there. I can't find a William Baker here in the U.S. near this area early on. I do find Hannah's, Sarah's, John's, etc. at Lycoming county early one, but none have a father William. So either this John is not the brother, and there's another John somewhere that Hannah's 1888 obit mentioned.
I see some on Ancestry trees, but don't have obits for them to find out. One died Jan. 7, 1918 at Muncy, PA. parents were John Baker and Eliza Vanner. I'd like to find his obit and see if it mentions any siblings (still living at that time).
Do you happen to have access to any Lyc. Cty records or newspaper subscriptions online?

This would help prove that Sarah Baker Myers is a sister of Hannah Baker Dill.
On the 1900 census for Sarah, she has Harry Dill living with her, heís age 21, that is Hannah Dillís son. Hanna was dead by then.

1900 Lock Haven, Clinton, PA, George Myers 53, Sarah 54, George W 15, Harry Dill 21, a servant.

A while back I sent you info on the family of Sarah (parent/siblings), and I noticed it today, maybe an error, The below statement should have WILLIAM Baker as the father, John was the brother. His last will lists that his father was William at Nottingham, England, who had an estate there.

"Sarah is mentioned in a sister (Hannah Dillís) obituary as a surviving sister and the following siblings that are all locally buried. The father was listed as John Baker Sr." (this part should have said William Baker).

Sorry if I mixed you up.
