I started searching my ancestors in February 2010 and have gotten hooked! Whenever I am able to locate someone after a long search it feels like such a victory.

I spend a lot of time in the area cemeteries looking for my relatives. It is peaceful walking (or driving around) these cemeteries, a good place for me to unwind and forget the outside world for awhile. The search for these ancestors has become a great adventure.

Researching 10 different families (most in eastern Kentucky) takes a lot of time and patience. When I get stuck on one family I just move on to another for awhile.

Maybe I will have a good picture of my ancestors and be able to leave this information to my family by the time I leave this world.
