Bio

I'm a South Georgia boy; born in Waycross shortly after the "Great Depression"; moved to Brunswick at age four and ended up in Dublin through high school; a graduate of North Georgia College and an Army veteran. I have lived in North Carolina for the past 37 years. Being the last living family member in my generation, I have become very interested in my family tree. Thanks to "Find a Grave", I have found great and great great grandparents. My daughter introduced me to to F.A.G. and I've been hooked every since. I throughly enjoy filling photo request; I know they mean a lot to the person and are very rewarding within themselves. I usually take two or three photos that will allow the requestor to stand at the foot of the grave and view the site close-up and in relations to surroundings because like myself many will never have the opportunity to visit the site. I realize in some instances this could infringe on allowed space so please do not hesitate to ask me to delete photos. I want to respect your wishes in all request I fill. I greatly appreciate those who fill my request.
Photography is one of my interest along with golf, fishing, writing, you name it and most of all my family. My genealogy family names are Bailey, McDaniel, Manning, Strickland,Sears, Summerlin, Ricketson, Vickers,Gaskin, Minix, Douglas, Raulerson, Pearson, Moody, Davis, Radford, Morgan, Lott, Causey; mostly in South Georgia counties Ware, Atkinson, Coffee, Brantley, Wayne, Pierce and Glynn.
I primarily cover request in N.C. for counties Northwest Moore, but also cover about a twenty mile radius reaching Northeast Montgomery, Southwest Chatham, and Southeast Randolph for request at least one month old.
Leaving flowers on veterans' memorials is a dedication for me; particulary those with whom I served.
