If you find any mistakes in my entries, please let me know and I will make the corrections. please feel free to give me any additional information for individuals I have entered. Contact me at "suggest correction" button since that will provide a link to the page.

The new agreement with Ancestry does not allow people to post photos from this website to Ancestry without first getting permission. Both sites make it very clear the copyright holder retains copyright and you need his/her permission to use any photo. Under U.S. copyright law, photos taken after 1977 are covered by copyright without the need to register it, use the (c), circled c, copyright, or any other notice. Using someone else's photo with citation is not a substitution for needing permission.

Thank-You,
A Hohman

Dear Ancestor,
Your tombstone stands among the rest;
neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
on polished, marbled stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I'd exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
one hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
and come to visit you.
