I was born in Jamestown,Fentress, Tennessee. I love them there hills. You can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl. I think I am related to just about everybody in Fentress County one way or another and proud of it. As you can see from the photo I go through a lot to FIND A GRAVE!|
If you are asking me about a memorial PLEASE be kind and give me the # you are referring to.

Where did you locate photo of Nancy Gray Means? She is a very distant relative. Very neat to see her photo. Thanks Kalub Miller

I am trying to find information about my great great grandma (Clarinda Cravens Johnson) and I believe Calvin Cravens is her Dad but keep bumping into Pleasant C Cravens also. Are they the same person or twins? Do you have any information or can you point me in the right direction.
PS I would love a picture of Clarinda if you knew anyone that had one. Her son Mack Johnson died in 1976 and is buried in Campground Cemetery.

I am looking for photos of David Smith, Ahijah Smith and Asa Smith. If you have them or run across any, please let me know.
You left flowers on the memorial for James STEVENS and I assumed that was your family. I have 5 lines of Stevens / Stephens and if you are related to Zorababel and David O Stephens, then we are related. It is a distant relationship but I feel happier knowing I've found ''family''.
|Carol STEVENS||James STEVENS|
Hello JoAnn, I saw your post on James STEVENS and I'm hoping you are related or how you are related. I'm through Thomas Stevens.
|Wilma Gibson||Isaac Crabtree 1825-1902|
Ms. Graham, my name is Wilma Crabtree Gibson and Isaac Crabtree was my g-g-grandpa, his first wife was Sarah (Sally) Crabtree b. 1830 (Campbell Co., TN to Jesse Crabtree and Elizabeth Smith)d. 1875. If memory serves me they had at least 13 children. Isaac and Sarah were first cousins, they were m. in Campbell Co., TN 12 Feb. 1848 by Champion Duncan JP.
Who this other Sarah is I have no idea, but hope you will correct this mistake.

Thank you for your reply about Mary Crabtree. I have a birth year as 1867. Still cannot find her - at least on find-a-grave. I was able to travel to KY last Sept. Met lots of relatives and found lost of ancestors. But to my disappointment, not Mary. Let me know if you ever hear anything. thank you.
