Bonnell in Elizabeth, NJ
I noticed you have a photo request active for Noah Bonnell, buried 1856 in First Presbyterian Churchyard Cemetery, Elizabeth, NJ...I can indeed confirm he was buried 4/5/1856, age 85. Noah and his father share a marker, which I will look for on my next trip to the cemetery. It is the only Bonnell marker in that area. Are there any other relatives of theirs that you would like me to search for? I can check the church records, in case the graves are unmarked, but I just need death dates to do so. The records are not indexed by name yet. Thanks

RE: Bonnell
FindAGrave rules favor the first correct memorial in the cemetery. However, if yours has the earliest date and you correct it to the right cemetery, you can ask the other person to delete theirs and see if they will. There has been so many mistakes between the incorrect cemetery names on FindAGrave and people posting memorials without having a clear understanding of which cemetery they were in, but I am trying to straighten everything out and get the memorials so they are correct once and for all. Let me know if I can be of any further help. Rhonda

I am a member of Bethlehem Presbyterian Church and have been sorting out lots of Find A Grave mistakes in the three cemeteries surrounding my church. Find A Grave had the names of the cemetery wrong, which caused LOTS of problems, but the cemetery names have been corrected. The old cemetery records are now online at the church website ( I also live closeby and confirm locations of individual gravestones as well. Thank you for making the corrections I have suggested. RE: Gerald Wetzbarger
I've been transcribing a couple of the Sioux City cemeteries and the information on Gerald came from the directory. Hope that helps. I thought it was interesting that they would bury a limb as well, but in transcribing I have found that he isn't the only one with a limb buried.

I transferred the memorial to you. Always glad to get them back to family.

Volunteers have uploaded photos to all three memorials: Joseph Caldwell, Sarah Kellogg-Caldwell and that of their daughter, Mary Cushman Caldwell-Holmes... The stone for Mary confirmed her burial in the same cemetery as her parents, and provided missing dates - which I have added to the online genealogy at P.S. I am still working on a BIOGRAPHY for Joseph and Tyler - which I shall donate to the Wisconsin Historical Society upon completion...
