I was born in Texas and have lived in New Mexico all but a few years of my early life. I live in Las Cruces, New Mexico. One branch of my family were pioneers in the New Mexico Territory. My Great Grandfather, Robert Florence Love, is the founder of Lovington in Lea County, New Mexico. I am proud of my New Mexico ancestors. In tracing my ancestry back, I've found that my roots originated in North Carolina, Georgia and other southern states. I'm now making an effort to study US Hitory more thoroughly so that I may understand these people, how they lived, and what the world was like in their times.

Findagrave is an amazing resource, and I hope to be able to start photographing remote New Mexico Cemeteries in the near future, so that I may give back.
