I've been doing my genealogy & helping/teaching others for over 50 years. (And DNA testing/genetic genealogy for about 15 years.) My ancestors were all from GA & the South, back to colonial times. I enjoy hearing from relatives of any kinship level. I've been an Adoption Search Consultant for about 40 years, which is similar to genealogy - reuniting and finding Families - one is looking for the living, one is looking for the dead. All are important.
I've taught classes in genealogy and civil war research and like to 'pass it on.' I administer several surname Projects at FTDNA (Bussey, Keene, Hollyman, Stembridge, and more.)
I have a Facebook group all are welcome to join: Tina's Genealogy (a general genealogy group, not my own genealogy), and several surname FB groups.
