Genealogy research should be shared. Anyone who wants my pictures or information is welcome to it. I am grateful to those who unselfishly post their findings and pictures and share with others. |
I also appreciate the team efforts of findagrave members-those who contribute pictures, obituaries, and family links. I don't mind death certificates on my postings. Not only is this site used to perpetuate the memory of loved ones, but it is also used to help others track their ancestors.
The new edit system is great, but members, please check the requests before you blindly hit Accept. I've caught many errors in these edit requests. Please don't hyphenate last names or ask me to do so. Consider how difficult it is to search for an ancestor with a hyphenated last name.
Feel free to browse my American Revolution and Civil War virtual cemeteries, and leave flowers for these soldiers, as well as the Purple Heart recipients.
And, do we really need copyrights on a headstone picture? How ridiculous! We need to leave our egos at the cemetery gates.

|Linda Moore Mora||RE: Memorial @149272592|
There was some confusion on this lady. Just delete her bio and I will do more research. Thanks for catching.
|Terry Cooper||RE: Old Saw Mill Meeting House Cemetery|
I keep telling people the same thing. I'm going to wait for October when everything green dies off and then go back to some of these places and see what I can see then. :)
|Stephen P. Burke||FAG 175703608|
I put the wrong parent in for Edmund D. Burke. His mother is Margaret (Campbell) Burke FAG165216979. Please change to correct parent number.
|Teddi Vial||Ketchum Family Burial Plot|
I just want you to know I posted a photo of the enclosed family plot along with a note my G, Grandfather wrote about the Plot.
For Zopher Ketchum in New York.
Thank you for creating the Memorial.
|Terry Cooper||Old Saw Mill Meeting House Cemetery|
I Googled it and came up empty. I used the link you posted but it didn't tell me where this old mill location is. I'd like to go there myself but Sussex county is a big place to look for a few stones! Any idea as to where it is exactly? Thanks.
|Kayra Dillon||Memorials inputted|
Thank you for your huge contribution of memorials to Findagrave.
|Dorothy Jackson||Mary A Daniels|
You have the death date the same as the birth date. Her gravestone says death date is 1998.
|CHARLENE CASTLE GIBBONS||TRAVIS T CASTLE|
I appreciate all the hard work and memorial that you add to findagrave. Travis is my brother. Could you transfer to memorial #64538086, who is his father's memorial.
|Stephen P. Burke||Margaret Campbell Burke|
I am currently collecting information on a Thomas F. Burke and his various wives to write an article for the newsletter put out by the McDonough County Genealogy Society. I am interested in information on a Margaret Burke buried in Bushnell Cem. in Bushnell, IL. First any chance you related? Any chance that Margaret might have been married to a Edmound Burke? Any information you could send would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
