Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello All,

I have been hooked on genealogy for about 20 years now. My great aunt, Rosella Beach gave me the William Harrison Beach family bible and I began to wonder who the individuals were and my quest began.

Thanks to all of the family members and volunteers who have submitted information and provided photos. The information has been a great addition to my family tree as I seem to be one of the few Beach relatives that migrated to Indiana.

I've also included a link to an old file containing information on the Beach family. I am in the process of rebuilding, correcting, and making additions. Enjoy!

God Bless,

Ashley, Kelly, Amber (my girls)

Old Joseph
Mrs. Odie Agee (1868-1930)(FG #70624442)
On 17 March you requested a photo of Mrs. Odie Agee's gravestone in Section J, Lot 8 of the Richmond Cemetery. I claimed your request but when I went to the cemetery last Sunday I could not find her gravestone. Instead I posted a photo of Lot 8 instead of a gravestone photo. After checking the Richmond Cemetery Inventory of Burials I noticed that "Mrs. Odie Agee" was in italics; this normally indicates that the individual is buried in an unmarked grave.
As is my practice when I am attempting to fulfill a photo request, I always take photos of all the gravestones in the cemetery lot. While reviewing this morning the other photos that I took this past Sunday I noticed that one of them was of a stone engraved with "Mother" and the same dates as Mrs. Odie Agee. Please know the I have now re-fulfilled your request by adding a photo of Mrs. Agee's gravestone to her FG memorial.

RE: David and Janet A. Dennis
Hi,

Yes feel free to use the tombstone image for personal use. There is a link to the online obituary included at the bottom of the obit. The obit and the the image of Janet belong to the funeral home. You will need to ask them for permission.

RE: Parsons Family
How nice of you to ask me. Of course. I'd love to figure out more precisely how we are related. My paternal second great-grandfather, Laban Dow Parsons (1839-1885) had a number of daughters, three of whom married three Crabtree brothers. Another a Judge. Mary Elen Parsons married Andrew J. Little. Do you have any pictures of your ancestors, especially the ones that descend from Parsons?

With all best wishes, James Parsons

Ellen Mark photo request
Hello Jeannie,

I just wanted to let you know that I found a headstone for Ellen Mark. Her name is on the side of the headstone, but there are no dates for her.
The top of the marker says Jean Hazel and has Jean's year of birth and year of death.
It's possible that Ellen's dates are buried under the surface of the grass, but it's confusing to say the least.
Jean Hazel has her own shared headstone with her husband, Fred Hazel. I don't understand the connection between the 2 women, but I almost missed Ellen's name on the marker at all. I've highlighted it so that it may be seen better.
I also found Ellen's death certificate and attached it to the memorial.
Hope this helps....
Best wishes!
Janet
