Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a father of six and sort of the amateur historian of my family. My mother loved geneology but never realized the wonders of technology. The bug has bitten me.

To me this work is like treasure hunting. I'm still new at it but it has been so fun.

Good hunting!

RE: Calvin Vickers
Calvin Vickers was a family friend back in the 30's and 40's. I found his photo in an old family album. I posted it because I believe every name should have a face. I don't know where Margaret is buried. A quick search of Ancestry shows her living as the widow of Calvin Guy Vickers on N. 18th Street in Boise ID in 1960. Her occupation was lunch room attendant at a local bank. Haven't been able to find her after that. Maybe she is buried with Calvin and we just don't know it. A request for a search of the Morris Hill burial records may be the only way to find out. Or maybe one of the children took her into their home. Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck. -- Alice

Dave-- bad news on your requests for William and Nancy. Cemetery records show them buried with May A and May on plot: H-49-8.There are two old stones on this plot for May A(wife) and May(dau). No other stones are present.I posted the two May's.

I am transferring this memorial to you so you can add or link as you find or have information.

Thanks! (I am not related and am glad to find someone who might be related or interested.)

RE: William Charles smith birthdate
You are correct that the dates are incorrect. His death certificate lists his birth in 1871 though.

I don't manage his page, but have put in for a correction.

Warren Barnes Smith
Warren Barnes Smith was my grandfather's step father and the only father he knew. His own father died before he was born. My grandfather was Orin Austin Seager. Orin's mother was Mary Emeline Tyrrell and she was sealed to Warren B. Smith. I have a lot of history and photos to share if you are interested.
