I'm looking for someone to take over management of all my un-related people. I will be working on locating them all in the Un-Related virtual Cemetery. Please leave me a note and your member name and number if interested.
I created many African American memorials from death notices, death certificates and cemetery readings that were not being honored as they should be, I was hoping to find their families, as I have done extensive research on them.

|Susan Wooden||James H Boyle|
I found your page on James H. Boyle, my great-great grandfather, and noticed you reference the 1850 Census indication Iowa birthplaces.
If you look at many of the other entries on the Indiana portion of that Census, they all have "Ia" as the place of birth. It appears that the Censustaker was using "Ia" as the abbreviation for Indiana.
There were not any 2-letter state abbreviations at that time, and I'm not even sure that there were any "official" abbreviations. I know for a fact (as much as oral family history can be taken as fact) that this group of Boyles were never in Iowa.

|Carole Knoell||Josiah Earp|
Thanks Juliane, I wasn't sure if Josiah was one of your family members. Guess that makes us distant cousins. Keep me in mind if anything changes.

You and I have had previous contact concerning the "HODGE" familes in Bath County, VA.
I and related to them and their connections.
Mary Francis "Fanny" Bodkin married Isham Hodge.
Bath County 1856: Mary Francis "Fanny" Bodkin Hodge married William R. Kirkpatrick.
William R. Kirkpatrick was the s/o Benjamin & Virginia Kirkpatrick. He is named in his father's will as William R. W.( Will Books 5/6.)
Reuben's 1866 Bath marriage record lists his parents as Ice & Mary Hodge.
I read, at some point, you are lookn to turn your memorials over.

Hello Im hoping you can help me. Im looking for the family of Marvin Tucker that is still living who is the son of the above James Matthew Tucker. I have recieved some photos, marriage lic etc that a friend pick up at a sale and I promised her I would help find the family and return to them. Can you help me ? Thanks for any info you can share with me.
Thank You for the transfers. I will take good care of them. I am going to Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo in a couple of weeks (meeting a friend from Durant) and I will try to get photos of the grave stones & add them to the memorials. That cemetery is amazing, it has a lot of Circus performers there & Rodeo people. Lane Frost is buried near Freckles Brown (a Rodeo Clown), and several people from Idabel that I knew are there. Thanks Again. Have a Nice Day
