Forest Lawn Cemetery Beaumont TX-in progressI am taking this cemetery a section at a time unless you have exact garden/plot information then I will go and take individual headstone pictures as well.Magnolia Cemetery Beaumont TX- sections X,E,H,7 (2012-2014)Istre Cemetery Mermentau La- in progress (many unmarked or faded headstones)Simmons Cemetery (Orange Texas) I took all that I could find. It is off the beaten path and hidden next to a set of railroad tracks. It is deteriorating rapidly.Alabama Coushatta Reservation Livingston Texas. I took a picture of every headstone whether it was readable or not. There are many that are unmarked graves or unreadable. Some were covered in ant beds and I couldn't get a shot. (June 2015)Tips for a good day for taking and recording info bring:mosquito spray, stiff whisk broom some areas stay saturated with rain water and are close to the bayous so the mosquitoes and ants can be quite fierce and sand and mud tend to rest on the headstones and need to be cleaned to get a good picture.I strive to get edits, transfers and updated information completed in a reasonable timely manner.
