Bio

I am James and I am retired U.S Navy (E7: CPO). I lost my youngest son when he was KIA (3-9-2010) in Afghanistan and I find that helping others find loved ones and ancestors through this effort to be very therapeutic. I am minister for a local congregation and will be happy to help you in this area and I will travel to work in cemeteries I can get to.

When I do a requested photo I will take pictures of all surrounding markers, with the same last name, within a family plot or near the requested photo. I will send you their names and dates and if you want them posted I will do so if you make a memorial and request a photo. I also try to take accurate notes of the grave location if I cannot get the plot number so if you want that info let me know and I will send it to you via FAG message or email.

Any picture I take of a marker you may use for your own private use. If you want to publish it elsewhere or use it on another website please extend the courtesy of giving the photographer credit.

We do not clean the markers with any agents using only a soft brush to get off grass and dirt. We do this to avoid any upset family members or cemetery custodians. So if the marker is not clean enough for you then I am sorry. Often times I take pictures of markers in the area around a photo request of people with the same last name... because I am busy as a minister, volunteering at the local hospital, part time job with the local police department I do not have time to make long detailed searches for the information for these people... I ask if you want a lot of additional info added to the memorial I made please just ask for the memorial and I will transfer it to you so it may receive the information and time it deserves.

If I make a memorial for someone and they are your family member I will transfer management to you. Unlike others on here I will help you in that regard as I do not consider this work to be my own personal property. I do not have very strict guidelines for this transfer and do not limit transfer to only immediate family members.
I look forward to helping you as much as I can.

I have recently returned to my home state of Arkansas and will soon begin working on pictures in my area there.
