My wife and I grew up in Jasper County, Missouri. Our parents, grandparents, all great-grandparents except one, and some of our great-great-grandparents are buried in Jasper and Barton Counties. I have posted many of our relatives and have updated several. When requesting updates many of the memorials were transferred to me. Also some contributors are no longer active and Find A Grave has transferred memorials. Therefore I manage many more than I have posted and am willing to transfer according to the Find A Grave rules. Gray and Summerset cemeteries are of great interest so I have added memorials for persons buried in those cemeteries and for many of their descendants. I appreciate the help provided by several contributors who live in Jasper County. As of 07/2023 there were 167 Seela memorials including those with maiden name Seela. I am related to all but the 32 in my Seela - Not Related virtual cemetery. All of the other 136 are descendants of or spouses of descendants of Isaac Seela 69130147 whose birth name was Seely but was changed to Seela. A search for Seela should use exact spelling along with including maiden name.
